Day 1: Arrival in Dubrovnik – Cable Car Ride – Walking Tour
Arrive in Dubrovnik and transfer to your hotel (check-in available post 3 PM). In the late afternoon, enjoy a breathtaking cable car ride to Srd Hill, offering stunning panoramic views of Dubrovnik’s Old Town and the scenic Dalmatian Coast.
Afterward, explore the city on a walking tour, where you’ll see iconic landmarks such as Rector’s Palace (exterior view), the ancient Dubrovnik city walls (exterior view), Onofrio’s Fountain, and the vibrant Stradun street in the heart of the Old Town. Catch a glimpse of Fort Minceta (exterior view) before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in the Dubrovnik area.
Day 2: Optional Full-Day Tour to Montenegro – Budva, Kotor & Our Lady of the Rocks (220 km)
Spend the day at leisure by the sea or choose an optional excursion to the stunning country of Montenegro.
Optional Tour: Cross the border into Montenegro and head to Budva, a picturesque coastal town. Enjoy a walking tour through its historic fortifications and take time to have lunch on your own along the beautiful Adriatic coastline.
Afterward, continue to Kotor, where you’ll explore its charming fortified old town on a short walking tour. Later, take a boat ride to the island of Our Lady of the Rocks, a man-made islet created by sinking old ships. Return to the Dubrovnik area for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Dubrovnik – Ston – Split – Zadar (400 km)
Begin your day with a scenic drive along the breathtaking Adriatic coast, lined with cypress trees, on your way to Split. En route, stop at the historic town of Ston, home to impressive defensive walls, second only to the Great Wall of China in size.
On arriving in Split, explore the old town on a guided walking tour. Discover the fascinating history of Diocletian’s Palace (exterior view), built in 305 AD as a retirement residence for the Roman Emperor. Marvel at its ancient remains, the colonnaded square, and the Temple of Jupiter.

Day 4: Zadar – Plitvice Lakes National Park – Zagreb (300 km)

Day 6: Ljubljana – Lake Bled – Bled Castle – Ljubljana (120 km)
After breakfast, drive to Lake Bled, often called “paradise on earth,” surrounded by the stunning Julian Alps and Karawanken Mountains. This picturesque lake was once the summer retreat of the Yugoslav Royal Family and also hosted President Tito’s summer residence.

Day 7: Ljubljana – Salzburg – Mirabel Gardens – Munich (400 km)
After breakfast, depart for Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart and the iconic setting for the “Sound of Music” film. Take a stroll through the beautiful Mirabel Gardens and explore the charming old town.
In the afternoon, continue your journey to Munich. After dinner, check into your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Munich City Tour – Departure
In the morning, enjoy a brief walking tour of Munich, visiting Marienplatz, the Olympic Stadium (exterior view), and the BMW Museum (entrance not included). Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your return journey home.
