Day 1: London – Exeter – Plymouth – Paignton (450 KM)
Today, meet your tour guide and begin your journey to Devon. Your first stop is Exeter, where you can admire the beautiful Exeter Cathedral from the outside and explore the historic Exeter City Walls. You’ll also have time to discover the underground passages (optional) and the rest of the city. Afterward, continue to Plymouth for a guided city tour, where you’ll visit Plymouth Hoe Park, home to Smeaton’s Tower lighthouse and the Belvedere Wedding Cake, among other sights. Finally, head to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.
Day 2: Paignton – St Ives – Land’s End – Penzance – Paignton (380 KM)
Today, we explore the beautiful South Cornwall coast. Our first stop is the picturesque town of St Ives. From the coach park, you can either walk to the town center or take a paid shuttle (own cost). St Ives is a charming fishing village with narrow cobbled streets to discover. You also have the option to take a boat ride to Seal Island. Next, we head to Land’s End, one of Britain’s most iconic landmarks, known for its dramatic location and breathtaking views. In the afternoon, we visit Penzance, nestled in the scenic Mount’s Bay, where you can enjoy views of St Michael’s Mount, a tidal island with a castle. Finally, we make our way to Newquay, known for its beautiful sandy beaches on Cornwall’s North Coast. You’ll have some free time to enjoy dinner before we return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Paignton – Babbacombe – Torquay – London (360 KM)
After breakfast, enjoy some free time to relax on the sandy beaches of Paignton. Check out of the hotel by 10 AM and head to the charming seaside village of Babbacombe. If the weather is nice, you can take a ride on the Babbacombe Cliff Railway (ticket at your own expense), and enjoy the spectacular views as the train takes you down to Oddicombe Beach, where you can spend some time by the sea. Next, we visit Torquay, located in the heart of the English Riviera along South Devon’s coast. You’ll have free time to explore the town, walk along the coastal path to view landmarks like the London Arch and Beacon Cove, or indulge in Devon’s famous scones with clotted cream and tea. In the afternoon, we’ll begin our journey back to London.
