Day 1: Journey to Kilimanjaro
Begin your adventure by boarding your overnight flight to Kilimanjaro Airport, Tanzania, on a Sunday.
Day 2: Arrival and Optional Adventure in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport on Monday, completing your immigration and customs procedures. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, with check-in available after 2 pm. If time allows, you can take an optional trip to Arusha National Park, where you can explore the montane forests in search of black and white colobus monkeys, or simply unwind at the hotel after your long flight.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park Exploration
Today, set off towards Tarangire National Park, the sixth largest in Tanzania, covering an area of 2,850 km². Day 7: Full-Day Safari in Ngorongoro Crater
Today, embark on a full-day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, with a picnic lunch at the crater’s base. Descend 2,200 feet into this magnificent caldera, the world’s second-largest, aboard 4-wheel drive vehicles for an unforgettable safari experience. Over 30,000 animals, including wildebeests, elephants, lions, dik-diks, and warthogs, call the crater home, while the lakeside is a haven for pelicans, ibis, and flamingos.
