Arrive at Port Blair in the afternoon and transfer to your designated hotel. After lunch, visit the iconic Cellular Jail, a National Memorial renowned for its association with India’s freedom struggle. Designed for solitary confinement, the prison earned the Andaman Islands the infamous title of “Kala Pani.” Built by the British in 1906, this three-story structure holds a significant place in history, having housed many freedom fighters who endured unimaginable hardships within its walls.
In the evening, experience the captivating Light and Sound Show at the Cellular Jail, which vividly narrates the heroic tales of India’s fight for independence. Immerse yourself in this moving tribute to the resilience and sacrifices of the freedom fighters. Overnight stay at Port Blair.
After an early breakfast, transfer to the jetty to board the cruise to Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island). Located approximately 54 kilometers northeast of Port Blair, this tropical paradise spans 86 square kilometers and is celebrated for its pristine beaches and vibrant marine life. Renowned worldwide for snorkeling and scuba diving, its waters are home to nearly 1,000 marine species, including nudibranchs, sea slugs, ghost pipefish, jawfish, and an array of unique crustaceans. With up to 40 meters of underwater visibility, vibrant coral reefs, and a tranquil ambiance, Swaraj Dweep has become a dream destination for travelers seeking serenity and adventure.
Upon arrival at the Havelock Island jetty, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7). This stunning white sand beach, located on the island’s western side, gained international recognition when Time magazine named it the best beach in Asia in 2004. Framed by lush tropical forests and stretching over several kilometers, Radhanagar Beach offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and recreational opportunities.
After enjoying the serene beauty of the beach, transfer to your hotel on Havelock Island for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, head to Kalapathar Beach, a serene and picturesque spot on Havelock Island. This charming beach, known for its golden sand and turquoise waters, is named after the nearby Kala Pathar village. Surrounded by lush green forests and dotted with black rocks contrasting beautifully against the silver sand, the beach offers a tranquil escape for nature lovers.
Enjoy leisurely walks along the soft sandy shore, feel the cool breeze, or simply unwind amidst the breathtaking scenery. The quiet ambiance and fewer crowds make it an ideal place for peace and relaxation. Coconut groves lining the beach add to its allure, while a hammock under the shade of trees makes for a perfect spot to soak in the serene views.
Later in the afternoon, proceed to the Havelock Island jetty to board the ferry back to Port Blair. Upon arrival, our representative will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight stay at Port Blair.
After breakfast, visit Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Island (Ross Island), which once served as the administrative capital during British rule. Now managed by the Indian Navy, the island stands as a relic of its historic past, with remnants of old British structures scattered across its lush green landscape. Explore the Smritika Museum, which showcases photographs and artifacts from the colonial era, and enjoy the serene walking trails populated by friendly deer amidst lush greenery.
After exploring Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Island, sail to North Bay Island, also known as Coral Island. Renowned for its vibrant coral reefs, this destination offers opportunities for activities such as glass-bottom boat rides, snorkeling, sea walking, and scuba diving (at an additional cost) to witness the underwater wonders up close.
Return to Port Blair in the evening and enjoy an overnight stay at your hotel.
Start early in the morning for an exciting full-day trip to Baratang Island, located approximately 110 km (a 3.5-hour drive) from Port Blair. This journey offers a glimpse of the Andaman Islands’ natural beauty, passing through creeks and dense equatorial forests.
Upon arrival at Baratang, embark on a thrilling ride by fiber speedboat through scenic mangrove creeks. After disembarking, enjoy a short trek through a village and mangrove forest to reach the famous Limestone Caves. These ancient caves, located about 30 minutes by sea from the Baratang jetty, showcase stunning natural formations that are a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and leisure travelers.
Return to Port Blair by evening. Please note that photography is strictly prohibited in the jungle area. Overnight stay in Port Blair.
After breakfast, proceed to Wandoor Beach, located about 30 km from Port Blair. The scenic drive takes you through areas affected by the tsunami, where once-thriving paddy fields now resemble serene lakes. These transformed landscapes have become a haven for migratory wetland birds, offering a delightful experience for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts.
After enjoying the tranquil beauty of Wandoor Beach, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey. Depart with cherished memories of your wonderful Andaman holiday.
