Brazil’s Iguazu Extension is a must-visit destination, famous for its stunning Iguazu Falls and breathtaking natural beauty. This UNESCO World Heritage site attracts nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts alike, offering immersive experiences in the surrounding rainforest. The area is rich in biodiversity, making it a perfect spot for wildlife tours. Explore the falls from both the Brazilian and Argentine sides for an unforgettable adventure. Ideal for those seeking adventure, nature exploration, and photography opportunities.
Day 1: Journey to Iguazu Falls
Today, you’ll be taken to the airport for your flight to Iguazu. Once you arrive, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel, which may be a bit further from the falls due to limited nearby accommodation (early bookings help with proximity). In the afternoon, enjoy a brief walk leading you to a viewing platform, where you’ll pass through jungle, wildlife, and birdlife to get as close as possible to the majestic Falls. For an extra thrill, you can opt for a helicopter ride to experience the Falls from above.
Day 2: Exploring the Argentinean Side of Iguazu Falls
After a delicious breakfast, you’ll head to the Argentinean side of the Iguazu Falls. Take a short train ride through the heart of the National Park, which will take you to scenic pathways and walkways leading to the famous Devil’s Throat. Here, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the Falls. After some time to soak in the beauty of the area, you’ll head back to your hotel for some relaxation.
Day 3: Departure from Iguazu Falls
This morning, you’ll catch your flight to your next destination. Depending on your travel plans, this flight may route through either San Paolo or Buenos Aires. Safe travels!
