Day 1: Journey to Quito
Embark on your flight to Quito, the capital of Ecuador, nestled at an altitude of 9,200 feet (2,850 meters). Known for its rich colonial history, Quito is celebrated for its stunning architecture and vibrant artistic heritage, earning it the title of a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Day 2: Arrival in Quito
Upon reaching Quito, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Take the day to relax and adjust to the city’s high altitude. Enjoy a peaceful evening at your leisure. Overnight stay in Quito.
Day 3: Quito City Highlights & Mitad del Mundo
Today, embark on a comprehensive tour of Quito. Begin with a visit to Plaza de la Independencia (Plaza Grande), a charming square surrounded by gardens and dominated by La Catedral Metropolitana. At the heart of the plaza stands a monument made of bronze and marble, commemorating Ecuador’s first declaration of independence. Explore the Basilica Church and the San Francisco Church, both built in the 17th century. In the afternoon, head to Mitad del Mundo (Middle of the World) to stand on the Equator line at 0° latitude. Day 8: Cuenca to Guayaquil via Cajas National Park

Day 9: Guayaquil to Bogotá
This morning, take a flight from Guayaquil to Bogotá, the capital city of Colombia. Upon arrival, meet your representative who will assist with your transfer to the hotel. Check in and take some time to relax and settle in.
Day 10: Monserrate, Bogotá City Tour & Gold Museum
Start your day with a visit to Mount Monserrate, offering breathtaking views of Bogotá and the surrounding valley from 3,200 meters above sea level. You can take a cable car or funicular to the summit, where a chapel dedicated to Santa María de la Cruz de Monserrate was built in 1650 by a Spanish cleric. Afterward, enjoy a walking tour through Bogotá’s historic center. Begin with vibrant Street Art before stopping at the El Carmen Church, originally built in the 17th century and later expanded in 1926. Over time, this led to the creation of an underground salt deposit, where the Salt Cathedral was built 180 meters beneath the surface.
