Day 1: Arrival in Havana
Start your journey in Havana! Upon reaching the city, you’ll head straight to your hotel for check-in.
Day 2: Exploring Havana – Rum, Hemingway, and History
Spend the afternoon discovering Havana’s charm. Wander through its colonial buildings, lively plazas, and green parks. Visit a cigar factory, explore the Havana Club Rum Museum, and take in iconic landmarks like Plaza de Armas and the Cuban Arts and Crafts Palace. There’s so much more to experience along the way!
Day 3: Havana – Pinar del Río – Viñales Valley
Set off on a day trip to Pinar del Río, where you’ll explore the stunning Viñales Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. Travel through scenic tobacco fields and learn about the cigar-making process, from growing and harvesting to rolling. Marvel at the vibrant Mural de la Prehistoria, then uncover underground rivers, caves, and unique limestone hills dotting the landscape. Return to Havana in the evening.
Day 4: Havana – Guamá – Cienfuegos – Trinidad
Leave Havana and journey to the Zapata Peninsula to explore Montemar National Park, Cuba’s premier nature reserve. Enjoy a speedboat ride across a lagoon to visit the Aldea Taína, a recreated indigenous village where you’ll learn about ancient local traditions. Stop by a crocodile breeding farm, then continue to Cienfuegos, a coastal city with stunning French-inspired architecture. Stroll along the famous Malecón waterfront before heading to Trinidad for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Trinidad – Varadero
Begin your day with a walking tour of Trinidad, a charming colonial town over 500 years old, once thriving on its sugar cane plantations. Explore landmarks like Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, the Tower of Contrabandido, and La Santísima Trinidad Square.
