Kenya and Tanzania, located in East Africa, are premier destinations for unforgettable wildlife adventures. Day 1: Welcome to Nairobi
Arrive in Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and complete immigration and customs procedures. You’ll be transferred to your hotel, where check-in is available after 2 PM. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to visit the renowned Giraffe Centre to feed giraffes up close or relax for the rest of the day. Spend the night in Nairobi.

Day 2: Journey to the Majestic Masai Mara
Start the day with an early breakfast before setting off at 6 AM for the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve. This vast 520-square-kilometer reserve is teeming with incredible wildlife like lions, cheetahs, zebras, and wildebeests, alongside breathtaking landscapes and diverse flora.
Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at the lodge before heading out on an afternoon game drive to spot the famous Big Five and other fascinating animals. Depending on the season, you may even witness the spectacular migration. Return to the lodge in the early evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Exploring the Masai Mara
Today offers flexible safari options. Choose between a full-day adventure, taking packed meals for breakfast and lunch, or opt for separate morning and afternoon game drives. For a morning game drive, pack breakfast and return to the lodge for a hot lunch before heading back out in the afternoon. End the day with a relaxing dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Optional Hot Air Balloon Safari & Champagne Breakfast
Start your day early with a once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon safari. You’ll be picked up before dawn and driven to the launch site. After a safety briefing, watch the crew prepare the balloon before taking off at sunrise. Float above the plains, rivers, and forests, enjoying panoramic views of the Masai Mara and its wildlife.
The hour-long flight concludes with a luxurious bush-style breakfast featuring Champagne, fresh fruits, and Kenyan coffee, served in the heart of nature. The experience is truly unforgettable.

Day 4: From Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru and Elementaita
After breakfast, depart Masai Mara and travel through Kenya’s lush agricultural lands. Enjoy scenic views of wheat and barley fields as you head towards Narok, the heart of Maasai culture in the area. Journey onward across the sprawling plains of the Rift Valley, keeping an eye out for giraffes and gazelles along the way.
Stop for a picnic lunch en route before arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive. Famous for its vibrant birdlife, including flamingos, the park is also home to Black and White rhinos and the rare Rothschild Giraffe.
By late afternoon, continue to a luxurious camp set by the tranquil shores of Lake Elementaita, where you’ll unwind and spend the night.
Day 5: From Elementaita to Amboseli
Start your day with an early breakfast followed by a guided bird walk in the Soysambu Conservancy. Known for its incredible birdlife, the area boasts over 450 species, including both migratory and native birds.
Afterward, leave the Rift Valley and travel to Nairobi for an early lunch. Continue your journey south to Amboseli, arriving at your lodge in the late afternoon. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the lodge’s amenities.
Set against the majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park is famous for its impressive elephant herds and other wildlife, such as wildebeest and antelope, that roam its plains.
Day 6: Wildlife Adventure in Amboseli
Today, we dive deep into the wonders of Amboseli National Park. At sunrise, we’ll embark on a morning game drive to watch the park come to life. Imagine seeing elephants taking mud baths, giraffes gracefully munching on acacia leaves, and the possibility of spotting lions on the prowl.
After an exciting morning, return to the lodge for a relaxed lunch. Take some time to unwind, reflect on the day’s sightings, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the park.
In the afternoon, we venture back into the park with our expert rangers to explore more of Amboseli’s diverse landscapes, from its vast plains to the bird-filled marshlands. Keep your camera ready for a view of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, towering in the distance and providing a perfect backdrop for our wildlife encounters.
As the day winds down, return to the lodge for a delightful dinner and share the unforgettable experiences of the day.
Day 7: From Amboseli to Arusha
After a relaxing breakfast, take in one final view of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro before leaving Amboseli’s breathtaking scenery behind. We’ll begin our drive towards the Tanzanian border, soaking in the picturesque landscapes along the way.
After completing customs and immigration procedures, we’ll continue our journey to the lively city of Arusha. Once there, check into your comfortable hotel, where you can unwind and recharge after a day of travel.
Day 8: Journey to Lake Manyara
After a leisurely breakfast, we set off on a scenic drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park. As we climb the Rift Valley escarpment, the views become increasingly breathtaking, offering stunning panoramas of the landscape below.
Upon arrival at your lodge, which sits high on the escarpment, enjoy sweeping views of the park. Take time to settle in, then savor a delightful dinner before unwinding and preparing for the upcoming safari adventures.

The park’s namesake lake draws countless bird species, including flamingos, pelicans, and storks. It is also home to an array of mammals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo. One of the park’s most unique features is the tree-climbing lions, a rare behavior found in this area.
Day 9: From Lake Manyara to Serengeti
Start the day with a hearty breakfast before setting out on an exciting morning game drive through Lake Manyara National Park. Keep your eyes open for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, along with elephants, giraffes, and a variety of birds.
After this thrilling experience, we’ll continue our journey towards the renowned Serengeti National Park, entering through the Naabi Gate. As we travel across the vast plains, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture the incredible wildlife, including large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles.
Arriving just in time for lunch, we’ll check into the luxurious Serengeti Serena Lodge, set in the heart of the park’s stunning landscapes. After a relaxing lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive, where you may witness the breathtaking Great Migration in action.
As the day winds down, we’ll return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and reflect on the unforgettable wildlife experiences we encountered.

Day 10: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti
Today, we dive into a thrilling full-day game drive across the vast and iconic Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is globally famous for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles journey across the African savanna. For a truly magical experience, take a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti. As the sun rises, you’ll float gently above the park, soaking in the stunning views of the wildlife and landscapes below. After your flight, enjoy a bush breakfast in the heart of the Serengeti, celebrating the beauty of nature before returning to your lodge.

Day 11: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After a satisfying breakfast, we’ll begin our scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy a delightful picnic lunch surrounded by the stunning landscapes.
The Ngorongoro Crater, a remarkable volcanic caldera, is home to an astounding variety of wildlife. With around 30,000 animals living within its boundaries, it’s one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in the world. Expect to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, hippos, and many other species.
Upon arrival, check into the luxurious Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, perched on the rim of the Crater. Each room offers panoramic views of the vast crater floor below. As the day comes to a close, enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind, preparing for the exciting safari adventures ahead.
Day 12: Adventure in Ngorongoro Crater
Wake up early for an exciting descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a stunning natural wonder formed by a dormant volcano. The crater floor is teeming with a remarkable range of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffalo. Along the way, you may also spot hyenas, cheetahs, and various antelope species.
During the day, we’ll pause for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the crater, surrounded by breathtaking views of the landscape. Afterward, we’ll ascend back to the rim and head to the lodge for a restful evening, enjoying a delicious dinner before settling in for the night.
Day 13: Ngorongoro to Kilimanjaro and Homeward Bound
Start the day early to witness the stunning sunrise over the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. As the sunlight spreads across the crater floor, you’ll enjoy a spectacular view of the wildlife below.
After a leisurely breakfast, we’ll depart the lodge and begin our journey back to Arusha. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a farewell lunch before transferring you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return flight home. If your flight departs after 3:00 PM, additional accommodation and transfer costs may apply.
Alternatively, if you’d like to extend your adventure, consider a relaxing few days on the beaches of the Kenyan coast or Zanzibar.
