Day 1: Arrival in Livingstone

Start your journey with a flight from O.R. Tambo International Airport to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport in Zambia. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and settle in. Spend the day at your own pace—either relax or opt for an exciting helicopter ride over the iconic Victoria Falls (available during the dry season from June to November when water levels are low). In the evening, enjoy a serene sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. (The cruise can be scheduled for Day 1 or Day 2). Overnight stay at the hotel.

Begin your day with a guided walk through Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park to witness the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls. Known locally as “The Smoke That Thunders,” the falls are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest curtain of water in the world, spanning 1,708 meters. During the rainy season, the falls unleash a staggering flow of half a million liters of water per minute.

Afterward, visit a traditional African art and craft village to browse and purchase unique handmade curios. In the evening, unwind with a tranquil sunset cruise on the Zambezi River (if not already done on Day 1). Alternatively, enjoy a leisurely evening at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast in Victoria Falls, transfer to Botswana via ferry or road to your lodge in Chobe National Park. Upon arrival, embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Chobe River. Witness majestic herds of elephants gathering to drink and bathe, while the iconic call of the African fish eagle fills the air. As you drift along, enjoy close encounters with resident hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading out for an exhilarating game drive in Chobe National Park, renowned for its exceptional wildlife. Immerse yourself in the safari experience as you explore the park’s diverse landscapes, spotting a variety of animals in their natural habitat. Conclude this unforgettable day with a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the lodge.

After enjoying your breakfast, prepare for your journey back to Johannesburg. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your return trip, carrying unforgettable memories of your adventure.
