Santiago Atitlan – Village Tour – Lake Atitlán
Today meet your local guide to the boat transfer to Santiago and San Juan. Along the shores of Lake Atitlan, you may find different towns, each of these villages is named after the twelve apostles. Santiago (St.James), is a village located on the south end, home to Maximon, a pagan saint who drinks moonshine and smoke cigars. Maximon is visited every day by locals, healers and tourists asking for favors. San Juanla Laguna, famous for its naïf art galleries, town murals and natural dyes textiles. Day 8: Copan Ruins – Transfer to Rio Dulce & Livingston

Day 9: Rio Dulce Boat Tour – Livingston to Flores

Explore the site’s over 500 structures, including 40 stelae, two ball courts, and nine pyramids.
