Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi & Giraffe Centre Visit (Optional)

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Sunday, complete immigration and customs procedures, and head to your hotel (check-in starts after 2 pm). Depending on your arrival time, you can either visit the renowned AFEW Giraffe Centre to feed the giraffes up close or relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay in Nairobi.

After an early breakfast, depart for Samburu National Park, situated along the Ewaso Ng’iro River, with the Buffalo Springs National Reserve across the water. The park covers an area of 165 km² and lies 350 km from Nairobi, at altitudes ranging from 800 to 1230 meters. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at the lodge before heading out for an afternoon game drive to search for the Big Five and other wildlife. Return to the lodge in the evening to relax and soak in the natural surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Samburu Natural Reserve, before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning and afternoon relaxing and enjoying the lodge’s facilities. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive to explore more of the park’s wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we head towards Aberdare National Park, where you’ll take a break from the long journey. Relax and unwind at the foothills of the Aberdare Range or nearby, enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Today, we travel through the stunning Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake covering 139 km². The lake is home to over 400 bird species and a large population of hippos. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at the lodge, followed by a relaxing afternoon by the lakeshore. You can also opt for a boat ride on the lake, depending on the weather. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After breakfast, we travel across the Rift Valley to the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, famous for its rich wildlife, vibrant birdlife, and breathtaking landscapes. Covering 520 km², the reserve is home to iconic species such as Masai lions, African leopards, cheetahs, zebras, Thomson’s gazelle, and wildebeest. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and some rest at the lodge, then embark on an afternoon game drive to search for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros). Depending on the time of year, we may also witness the incredible Great Migration. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today, you can choose between a full-day safari or separate morning and afternoon game drives. For a full-day safari, packed breakfast and lunch will be provided. If you prefer the morning game drive, enjoy a packed breakfast followed by lunch at the lodge, then head out for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Additionally, you can opt for a Balloon Safari or visit a Masai Village (additional costs apply, please inquire when booking).

You have the option to either enjoy a full-day safari or split your safari into a morning and afternoon game drive. On a full-day safari, both breakfast and lunch will be provided as packed meals. If you choose the morning game drive, you’ll enjoy a packed breakfast, followed by lunch at the lodge, and then head out for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After breakfast, depart from Masai Mara and head back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening. Overnight stay in Nairobi.

After breakfast, travel southeast to Amboseli National Park, Kenya’s second most famous park after Masai Mara. Known for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of free-roaming elephants, Amboseli offers an unforgettable experience. Upon arrival, check into the lodge and enjoy an afternoon game drive. Spend the evening soaking in the park’s incredible views. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Start the day early with a thrilling game drive in Amboseli, where you’ll have the chance to spot iconic wildlife such as free-roaming African elephants, cape buffalo, impala, lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest, all set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax for a while. After lunch, enjoy another exciting afternoon safari, then head back to the lodge in the late afternoon. The rest of the evening is at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After an early breakfast, depart Amboseli and head back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward flight, provided it’s after 15:00 hrs. If your flight is scheduled earlier, you may need to book for a later departure and an additional cost will apply for accommodation and transfers.

Alternatively, you can extend your trip and relax by the stunning beaches of the Kenyan coastline along the Indian Ocean.
