Your first stop is Matlock, where you have the option to take a cable car ride to the Heights of Abraham (optional, ticket not included). Enjoy panoramic views and explore the fascinating caves. Next, head to Bakewell, where you can taste the famous Bakewell Pudding as you wander through this charming town. Continue your journey to Buxton, the gateway to the Peak District. Day 2: Steam Train Ride, Boat Ride on Lake Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere & Keswick
Today, start your day with a heritage steam train ride from Haverthwaite Railway to Lakeside, followed by a scenic boat ride on Lake Windermere. Afterward, drive to Ambleside and visit the iconic Bridge House, the smallest house in Cumbria. Continue your journey to Grasmere, where you’ll enjoy a drive along the beautiful shores of Lake Grasmere. Stroll along the Chester Walls, the only city in Britain with a complete set of ancient defensive walls. Take some more time to explore the town at your leisure.
