Day 1: Journey to Windhoek

Begin your adventure by boarding an overnight flight to Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. Prepare for an exciting trip ahead!

Upon arrival in Windhoek, head to a cozy lodge located near the edge of the iconic Namib Desert. Enjoy a delightful dinner and settle in for the night.

Start your day early with a pre-breakfast trip to admire the pastel-colored, star-shaped dunes glowing in the soft morning light. After a brief stop, head to Sossusvlei and climb one of the towering sand dunes. Later, visit the remarkable Sesriem Canyon before returning to the lodge for a relaxing lunch. Spend your afternoon on an exciting nature drive and enjoy another night in the breathtaking Namib Desert.

After breakfast, travel back to Windhoek, arriving around lunchtime. Once there, embark on a city and township tour, exploring Windhoek’s historical sites, monuments, and vibrant neighborhoods like Khomasdal, Katutura, and Ludwigsdorf. Enjoy your overnight stay in Windhoek.

After breakfast, begin your journey to Etosha National Park. Upon arrival, enter through Anderson’s Gate and enjoy an exciting game drive around the Okaukuejo area. After a day of wildlife viewing, exit the park before sunset and head to your accommodation for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Today, enjoy an entire day of thrilling game drives in Etosha National Park, searching for the Big Five, giraffes, blue wildebeests, zebras, and more. Keep an eye out for the rare Black Rhino in the region. Visit the famous Etosha Pan, a massive salt flat that once held a vast lake. While mostly dry, it glows with a silvery-green hue and hosts migratory birds and algae. When the rains come, it transforms into a shallow lake, attracting flamingos, pelicans, and a variety of mammals, including leopards, lions, and rhinos. Exit the park before sunset and return for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay in Etosha.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive through the Oshikoto and Kavango Regions towards Rundu, located along the banks of the Kavango River in northern Namibia. Rundu is emerging as a growing investment hub. Arrive at your lodge by the Okavango River in the afternoon. Enjoy the option of a relaxing sundowner boat cruise before having dinner and spending the night at the lodge.

After breakfast, head out for an exciting game drive in Mahangu National Park, a wonderful stopover between Rundu and Katima Mulilo. The park, part of the Bwabwata National Park, features a diverse landscape of woodlands, vast floodplains, and the Kavango River. It’s home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and antelopes like the red lechwe, sable, and roan. With over 400 bird species, it’s a paradise for birdwatchers. Visitors can also spot crocodiles and hippos in the Kavango River. After the drive, return to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Today, we travel towards the Botswana border, passing through Katima Mulilo. On the way, stop by a traditional village to immerse yourself in the local Caprivi culture. Arrive at your lodge located along the Chobe River, offering beautiful views. You’ll have the chance to enjoy a refreshing sundowner on the river beach before heading back to the lodge for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, embark on a full-day boat cruise (subject to weather and water conditions). This relaxing journey will allow you to witness the vibrant birdlife and diverse wildlife along the Chobe River. Enjoy refreshments and a light lunch during the cruise. After a day of exploring, return to the lodge for a comfortable overnight stay.

After breakfast, travel to Kasane for your flight back home. Alternatively, you can choose to extend your stay and visit the breathtaking Victoria Falls.
