Day 1: Journey to Windhoek
Catch your overnight flight heading to Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia.
Day 2: Arrival in Windhoek and Journey to the Namib Desert
After landing in Windhoek, head to a lodge located near the edge of the renowned Namib Desert. Enjoy a delightful dinner and relax overnight.
Day 3: Exploring the Wonders of the Namib Desert
Start your day early with a pre-breakfast trip to see the breathtaking star-shaped dunes glowing in the morning sunlight. Afterward, visit Sossusvlei and climb one of the tallest sand dunes. Stop by the iconic Sesriem Canyon before returning to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature drive. Spend the night in the heart of the Namib Desert.
Day 4: Return to Windhoek and City Exploration
After breakfast, travel back to Windhoek, arriving around midday. Upon arrival, embark on a city and township tour, exploring Windhoek’s historical landmarks, monuments, and the neighborhoods of Khomasdal, Katutura, and Ludwigsdorf. Enjoy an overnight stay in Windhoek.
Day 5: Journey to Etosha National Park
After breakfast, set off for Etosha National Park. Enter the park through Anderson’s Gate and begin an exciting game drive in the Okaukeujo area. As the sun sets, leave the park and proceed to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Full Day Safari in Etosha National Park
Enjoy a full day of game drives in Etosha, where you’ll have the chance to spot the Big Five, along with giraffes, blue wildebeests, zebras, and more. The park is also home to the rare Black Rhino. Visit the famous Etosha Pan, a vast salt flat that once was a large lake. Now, it sparkles with a silvery-green hue and stretches across 5,000 square kilometers. When dry, the pan is home to algae and migratory birds, but after rainfall, it transforms into a shallow lake attracting flamingos, pelicans, and a variety of mammals, including leopards, lions, rhinos, and hunting dogs. Exit the park before sunset and head back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Journey to Rundu
After breakfast, drive through the Oshikoto and Kavango regions, heading towards Rundu. Situated along the Kavango River in northern Namibia, Rundu is quickly becoming a hub for investment and growth. Arrive at your lodge on the banks of the Okavango River in the afternoon. You can choose to join an optional sundowner boat cruise to unwind. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 8: Exploring Mahangu National Park
After breakfast, embark on a game drive through Mahangu National Park. This park, a scenic stop between Rundu and Katima Mulilo, is part of the stunning Bwabwata National Park. The landscape is defined by woodlands, vast floodplains of the Okavango River, and the Kavango River. It’s home to 99 species of mammals, including elephants, lions, leopards, and various antelopes like the red lechwe, sable, and roan. The park also boasts over 400 bird species and offers great opportunities to spot crocodiles and hippos in the Kavango River. Enjoy a game drive upon arrival and overnight at the lodge.
Day 9: Journey to Chobe Flood Plains
Today, we head towards the Botswana border, passing through Katima Mulilo. Along the way, we’ll stop at a traditional village to immerse ourselves in the local Caprivi culture. Upon arrival, we’ll check into a lodge located along the Chobe River. You’ll have the chance to relax and enjoy an optional sundowner drink on the riverbank before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 10: Full Day Boat Cruise on the Chobe River
After breakfast, set off on a full-day boat cruise (weather and water conditions permitting), where you’ll be treated to refreshing drinks and a light lunch. This cruise offers a fantastic opportunity to observe the abundant birdlife and wildlife along the Chobe River. After a day of exploring, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 11: Departure to India or Extension to Victoria Falls
After breakfast, head your flight back home. Alternatively, you may choose to extend your stay and visit the spectacular Victoria Falls.
Day 12: Arrival India
Arrive back India, marking the end of your memorable journey.
