Day 1: Helsinki (Finland)

Catch your flight to Helsinki. Upon arrival, depending on the time, either head straight to your hotel for check-in (available after 3 pm) or enjoy dinner before resting for the night at the hotel.

Begin the day with a guided tour of Helsinki, featuring key landmarks such as the Senate House, the Finlandia Hall (viewed from outside), the Helsinki Lutheran Cathedral, and the iconic Sibelius Park with its unique monument. Explore the fascinating underground Rock Church and then visit the Olympic Stadium’s visitor center. If time allows, you can climb the Olympic Tower (additional cost). Afterward, take some time to shop for souvenirs. In the afternoon, we will head to the port to board the Silja Line ferry to Stockholm. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay on the cruise.

Arrive in Stockholm and enjoy a guided walking tour of the city. Visit the impressive City Hall, home to the renowned Blue and Golden Halls where the Nobel Prize Banquet takes place each year. Next, take a stroll to Stockholm’s Old Town to explore the stunning City Palace and see the Royal Chair. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time for a brief tour to view iconic museums from the outside, including the Vasa Museum, ABBA Museum, or Stockholm Palace. End the day with a visit to Sky View (entrance included), located atop the Globe Arena, offering panoramic views of the city. Then, enjoy a leisurely walk around the scenic Waterfront area.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Karlstad, enjoying views of the Swedish countryside, with its serene lakes, forests, and quaint villages. Karlstad, located by Lake Vänern (Sweden’s largest lake), offers a picturesque setting. Upon arrival, take an orientation tour of the town, visiting the Sandgrund Lars Lerin Museum, the beautiful Mariebergsskogen City Park, and the impressive Karlstad Cathedral. In the late afternoon, continue your journey to Hamar, a charming town on the shores of Lake Mjøsa, Norway’s largest lake.

Today, we travel towards Geiranger, making a stop in Lillehammer, host of the Winter Olympics. Visit the Norwegian Olympic Museum, where you’ll learn about the history of the Olympic Games, with a particular focus on the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. The museum offers interactive displays, memorabilia, and multimedia presentations celebrating Norway’s Olympic heritage. After the visit, continue your scenic drive to Geiranger.

After breakfast, visit the Ornesvigen viewpoint, located along the famous Eagle Road (Ornevegen), offering one of the most stunning panoramic views of the Geirangerfjord, the village below, and the Seven Sisters Waterfall across the fjord. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Loen to experience the Loen Sky Lift. Ride one of the steepest cable cars in the world, ascending 1,011 meters (3,317 feet) to the top of Mount Hoven in just 5-7 minutes. Enjoy spectacular views of the fjord, mountains, and glaciers. Once at the top, take a walk along the scenic trails or visit the Hoven Restaurant for a meal with a breathtaking view. You can opt for a short hike or simply relax and take in the surroundings. Overnight stay in Loen.

After breakfast, travel to Bergen, where you will begin with an orientation city tour. See the historic Bryggen wooden warehouses, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Next, head to the Floibanen Funicular station, conveniently located near the city center. Board the funicular for a scenic ride up to Mount Floyen. Once at the top, enjoy stunning panoramic views of Bergen, its harbour, and the surrounding fjords. Take a leisurely walk along the marked trails and immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery. Overnight stay in Bergen.

After breakfast, head to Gudvangen, the starting point for your Sognefjord cruise. Board the boat for a scenic journey through some of Norway’s most breathtaking fjord landscapes, including the dramatic Næroyfjord and the tranquil Aurlandsfjord. Enjoy incredible views of waterfalls, steep cliffs, and charming villages along the way. Upon arriving in Flam, take in the stunning views of the fjord and surrounding mountains. Later, hop on the Flamsbana (Flam Railway) for an unforgettable train ride to Myrdal. After reaching Myrdal, transfer to a train or bus for your onward journey to Gol.

After breakfast, travel to Oslo for a guided city tour. Begin by exploring the renowned Vigeland Sculpture Park, where you’ll take a walking tour to discover over 200 sculptures created by artist Gustav Vigeland. Key highlights include The Monolith, The Fountain, and the Gates and Bridge. In the afternoon, continue your journey to the Holmenkollen Ski Jump (viewed from the outside) for a panoramic view of Oslo. On clear days, you can also see the fjord in the distance. Make a photo stop at the Opera House before heading to your overnight stay in Oslo.

After breakfast, travel to Gothenburg for a guided city tour. Stop for photos at the City Hall (Goteborgs Radhus), visit the Liseberg Amusement Park, and enjoy views of the Gothenburg Archipelago. Then, head to Malmo for a guided tour of the city. Explore key highlights, including the Turning Torso, a modern architectural icon, Malmo Castle (viewed from the outside), and the charming historic Lilla Torg square. Overnight stay in Malmo.

After breakfast, travel to Copenhagen. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of the city, where you’ll see iconic landmarks from the outside, including Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace, the Opera House, the historic Nyhavn Harbour, and the famous Little Mermaid statue. Overnight stay in Copenhagen.

This morning, depending on the timing of your return flight, you’ll be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home.
