Day 1 – Arrive in Taipei
Welcome to Taiwan! Upon arrival at Taipei Airport, meet your representative and transfer to your hotel.
Check-in (standard time approx. 14:00 hrs).
Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring Taipei on your own.

Day 2: Classic Taipei City Landmarks Tour (SIC)
After breakfast, embark on a classic Taipei sightseeing tour covering its most iconic attractions.
Highlights:
National Palace Museum – the world’s largest collection of ancient Chinese artifacts
Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall – symbol of Taiwan’s history and democracy
Lungshan Temple – a masterpiece of Taiwanese religious culture

Day 3: Taipei → Sun Moon Lake (SIC)
Enjoy breakfast and depart for Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, Taiwan’s most beautiful highland lake and the home of the Thao indigenous people. Visit:
Ita Thao Village – indigenous culture and local snacks
Ci’en Pagoda – panoramic lake views
Xuanzang Temple – dedicated to the famous Buddhist monk
Wenwu Temple – dedicated to the God of Literature and Martial Arts

Overnight: Sun Moon Lake
Day 4: Sun Moon Lake → Tainan → Fo Guang Shan → Kaohsiung (SIC)
Today, drive to Tainan, Taiwan’s oldest city.
Highlights:
Fort Zeelandia – Dutch-built fortress with a rich colonial past
Anping Old Street – Taiwan’s oldest street, famous for local snacks like tofu pudding and shrimp rolls
Continue to Kaohsiung and visit:Fo Guang Shan Monastery – world-renowned Buddhist site featuring a 36m golden Amitabha Buddha

Day 5: Kaohsiung → Kenting → Zhiben Hot Springs → Taitung (SIC)

Day 6: Taitung → East Coast Scenic Area → Hualien → Yilan (SIC)

Xiaoyeliu – mushroom rocks and sea-eroded formations
Sanxiantai – the iconic arched footbridge to an offshore island
Shitiping – world-class marine erosion terraces
Take a scenic train ride from Hualien to Yilan.

Day 7: Yilan – Kavalan Whisky Distillery & National Center for Traditional Arts – Taipei (SIC)

Evening transfer back to Taipei.
