This action-packed adventure blends rugged exploration with unforgettable scenic highlights, perfect for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and bucket-list travelers.
Day 1 – Arrive in Reykjavik, Iceland
Welcome to Reykjavik! At 6 pm, meet your Tour Director and travel companions for a welcome dinner at your hotel.

Hotel: Fosshotel Reykjavik / Hilton Reykjavik Nordica / Grand Hotel Reykjavik or similar
Day 2 – Reykjavik – Hellisheiðarvirkjun – Geysir – Gullfoss – Thingvellir – Borgarnes
Orientation drive around Reykjavik followed by a visit to the Hellisheiðarvirkjun geothermal power station. Continue to the Geysir hot springs with tasting of local specialties. Photo stop at Gullfoss Waterfall. Visit Thingvellir National Park and walk through the Rift Valley where two tectonic plates meet. Proceed to Borgarnes.

Day 3 – Borgarnes – Hauganes – Akureyri
Drive north to Hauganes and enjoy a whale-watching cruise with chances to spot whales and dolphins. Continue to Akureyri, known as the Capital of North Iceland.

Day 4 – Akureyri – Godafoss – Lake Myvatn – Dettifoss – Egilsstadir
Orientation walk in Akureyri including the botanical gardens. Visit Godafoss, the “Waterfall of the Gods.” Scenic drive to Lake Myvatn and later to Dettifoss, Europe’s most powerful waterfall (subject to road conditions). Continue to Egilsstadir.

Day 5 – Egilsstadir – Hofn Area
Scenic drive to Hofn, a charming fishing town in southeast Iceland. Free time to explore the town and surrounding fjord landscapes.

Day 6 – Hofn Area – Lake Jokulsarlon – Skaftafell National Park – Vik Area
Stop at Lake Jokulsarlon to admire drifting icebergs from Vatnajokull Glacier. Scenic drive through Skaftafell National Park en route to the Vik area.
