Ladakh, often referred to as “The Land of High Passes,” is a breathtaking Himalayan destination known for its dramatic mountains, crystal-clear lakes, and rich Tibetan-Buddhist culture. From the bustling charm of Leh town to the tranquil blue waters of Pangong Lake and the desert-like dunes of Nubra Valley, Ladakh delivers a perfect blend of nature, adventure, and spirituality. Whether you’re seeking scenic landscapes, monasteries steeped in history, thrilling drives across high mountain passes, or peaceful lakeside moments — Ladakh promises a journey like no other.

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Upon arrival at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. The first day is dedicated to acclimatization due to Leh’s high altitude. Spend the day resting, staying hydrated, and adjusting to the thin mountain air. In the evening, take a relaxed walk through Leh Market, where you can enjoy the lively local atmosphere. Overnight stay in Leh.

After breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to the historic Leh Palace, offering sweeping views of the region. Proceed to the serene Shanti Stupa, known for its stunning hilltop setting. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading toward Magnetic Hill, a famous natural wonder where vehicles seemingly roll uphill. Later, stop at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, a peaceful Sikh shrine steeped in legend. Return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, visit Thiksey Monastery, a beautifully perched hilltop monastery showcasing Tibetan Buddhist culture. Continue to Hemis Monastery, the largest monastery in Ladakh, known for its spiritual importance. Enjoy lunch en route before driving toward Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit Monastery and its iconic Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Later, head to Hunder Sand Dunes where you may enjoy a camel ride on the unique double-humped Bactrian camels. Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

After breakfast, continue your journey across Ladakh’s dramatic landscapes as you drive toward the mesmerizing Pangong Lake. Stop for lunch along the way. Upon arrival, witness the magical changing shades of the lake as it reflects the surrounding mountains. Spend a peaceful evening soaking in the natural beauty. Dinner and overnight stay near Pangong Lake.

Wake up to sunrise views over Pangong Lake and enjoy breakfast. Begin your drive back to Leh, stopping en route to visit Thiksey Monastery once again for those who may have missed it earlier. Lunch will be served during the journey. Reach Leh by evening, where you can explore the market for souvenirs and local handicrafts. Enjoy a special farewell dinner. Overnight stay in Leh.

After breakfast, depart for an unforgettable drive to Khardung La Pass – one of the world’s highest motorable passes – offering spectacular views of the Himalayas. Spend time at the pass before descending back toward Nubra Valley once again. Enjoy the surreal landscapes and, if time permits, another camel ride at Hunder. Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

After breakfast, check out from your accommodation. Our representative will transfer you to Leh Airport for your flight home. Depart Ladakh carrying unforgettable memories of mountains, monasteries, and mesmerizing lakes.
