Day 1: Journey to Bali
Begin your journey with a flight from the UK to Bali, landing at Denpasar Airport. Your adventure starts today!
Day 2: Arrival in Kuta
Upon arriving at Denpasar Airport, you’ll be greeted by a local guide who will assist with your transfer to your hotel in the vibrant Kuta area. After checking in, take some time to relax and soak in the lively atmosphere. If time permits, enjoy a delightful welcome dinner before settling in for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Cultural and Scenic Exploration
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading to Batubulan, a village famous for its vibrant Barong and Kris Dance. This traditional performance tells the story of the eternal battle between good and evil, drawing inspiration from the Mahābhārata epic.
Next, travel northeast through Bali’s diverse landscapes, from coastal lowlands to majestic mountains. Stop at Celuk and Mas Village, known for their skilled artisans. In Celuk, watch master silver and goldsmiths at work, and in Mas, marvel at the intricate wood carvings created by talented craftsmen.
Continue to Goa Gajah, or Elephant Cave, an 11th-century sanctuary adorned with fascinating rock carvings of demons and sacred bathing pools believed to ward off evil spirits.

Day 4: Temples, Markets, and Scenic Terraces
After breakfast, set out to explore Bali’s enchanting midlands, a region rich in history and natural beauty. Begin your day at Taman Ayun Temple, a 17th-century marvel in Mengwi surrounded by tranquil gardens and a lotus-filled moat. Admire the expansive courtyards and multi-tiered shrines that showcase traditional Balinese architecture.
Next, journey to Bedugul, a charming highland village known for its breathtaking scenery and three serene lakes. Wander through the bustling Candikuning Market, where you’ll find fresh produce, vibrant orchids, exotic spices, and unique souvenirs. Nearby, visit the picturesque Ulun Danu Temple, a stunning water temple that appears to float on Lake Beratan, perfect for capturing memorable photographs.
After lunch at a local restaurant, head to the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Walk through the lush, terraced fields and learn about the ancient Subak irrigation system, a sustainable farming tradition preserved by Balinese communities for generations.
Return to your hotel along scenic roads and spend the night in Kuta.
Day 5: Mount Agung and Besakih Temple
After breakfast, embark on a journey to the majestic Mount Agung, Bali’s highest peak, where you’ll find Besakih Temple, the island’s most revered and sacred temple complex. This spiritual site is known as the “Mother Temple” and is an important pilgrimage destination for Balinese Hindus, who visit for annual ceremonies.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, offering scenic views of lush rice fields with Mount Agung in the background.
Next, drive south and stop at Klungkung to visit the historic Kerta Gosa, the former Royal Court of Justice. Here, admire the stunning ceiling murals depicting the eternal battle between good and evil in vibrant detail.
Afterward, head to your hotel in Legian for a restful evening. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in Kuta.
Day 6: Tanah Lot Temple and Monkey Forest
Begin your day with a visit to Tanah Lot Sea Temple, one of Bali’s most iconic and photographed landmarks. Perched on a rocky outcrop surrounded by the ocean, this temple is a stunning sight, especially at high tide when the waves crash dramatically around it. Day 11: Departure from Denpasar
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Denpasar Airport for your return journey.
