Day 1: Arrival – Cellular Jail & Light and Sound Show

Arrive at Port Blair in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel. Post-lunch, visit the iconic Cellular Jail, a National Memorial steeped in history. Built in 1906 by the British for solitary confinement, this three-story structure, known as Kala Pani, stands as a somber reminder of the sacrifices made during India’s freedom struggle. Many valiant freedom fighters were imprisoned here, making it a revered pilgrimage site today.

In the evening, immerse yourself in the captivating Light and Sound Show at the Cellular Jail. This mesmerizing spectacle vividly narrates the tales of India’s struggle for independence and the bravery of its freedom fighters. Overnight stay at Port Blair.

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the Jetty for your cruise to Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island), located about 54 kilometers northeast of Port Blair. This serene tropical paradise spans 86 square kilometers and is renowned for its crystal-clear waters, ideal for snorkeling and scuba diving. With nearly 1000 species of marine life, the waters offer incredible diving experiences, including sightings of sea slugs, ghost pipe fish, and vibrant coral reefs.

Upon arrival at Havelock Island, you’ll be assisted by our representative and transferred to the world-famous Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7), often considered one of Asia’s finest beaches, as rated by Time magazine in 2004. Surrounded by lush tropical forests, this expansive beach is perfect for relaxation and water activities. After a day of exploration, check into your hotel in Havelock for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at your hotel, head to Elephant Beach or Light House Beach. Here, you can enjoy optional activities like Glass Bottom Boat RideSnorkelingSea Walk, or Scuba Diving (at an additional cost). The shallow blue waters of Elephant Beach make it an ideal spot for beginner snorkelers, with coral reefs close to the shore teeming with marine life. The scenic beauty of the beach, with its white sands and fallen trees, offers great photo opportunities.

Later, in the afternoon, we’ll transfer you to the Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) Jetty to catch the return ferry to Port Blair. Upon arrival, our representative will greet you and drop you back at your hotel in Port Blair for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Wandoor Beach, located 30 km from Port Blair. The route takes you through the Tsunami-affected area, where former paddy fields are now submerged, resembling a tranquil lake. The area has become a haven for migratory wetland birds, making it a perfect spot for birdwatching.

After enjoying the beauty of Wandoor Beach, we will drop you at the airport for your departure. Take with you the cherished memories of a wonderful holiday in the Andaman Islands.
