Day 1: Arrival – Cellular Jail & Light and Sound Show
Arrive at Port Blair in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel. Post-lunch, visit the iconic Cellular Jail, a National Memorial steeped in history. Built in 1906 by the British for solitary confinement, this three-story structure, known as Kala Pani, stands as a somber reminder of the sacrifices made during India’s freedom struggle. Many valiant freedom fighters were imprisoned here, making it a revered pilgrimage site today.
In the evening, immerse yourself in the captivating Light and Sound Show at the Cellular Jail. This mesmerizing spectacle vividly narrates the tales of India’s struggle for independence and the bravery of its freedom fighters. Overnight stay at Port Blair.
Day 2: Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) – Radhanagar Beach (Departure Time: 0600 Hrs)
Start your day with breakfast before transferring to the jetty for your cruise to Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island). Located approximately 54 kilometers from Port Blair, this tropical paradise spans 86 square kilometers and is renowned for its tranquil ambiance and vibrant marine life. The clear turquoise waters here rank among the world’s finest for snorkeling and scuba diving, home to nearly 1,000 species of marine creatures, including nudibranchs, sea slugs, ghost pipefish, and a variety of crustaceans.
Upon arrival at Swaraj Dweep, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to the magnificent Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7). Known as the jewel of the island, Radhanagar Beach gained international fame when it was crowned the “Best Beach in Asia” by Time Magazine in 2004. This stunning stretch of white sand, bordered by lush tropical forests, offers a serene escape far removed from the hustle and bustle. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, the beach provides ample opportunities for unwinding or adventure.
After soaking in the beauty of Radhanagar, transfer to your hotel at Swaraj Dweep for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Havelock Island – Kalapathar Beach & Return to Port Blair
Begin your morning with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before heading to the serene Kalapathar Beach. This charming beach on Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) is known for its golden sands, turquoise waters, and the striking black rocks that line its shore. Named after the nearby Kala Pathar village, this beach offers a tranquil retreat for those seeking peace and natural beauty.
Take a leisurely stroll along the soft sands, feel the cool sea breeze, or simply relax under the shade of the surrounding coconut groves. The dense green forests and the contrast of black rocks against the shimmering silver sands create a mesmerizing landscape. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape, this less-crowded beach is the perfect spot. Bring along a hammock, tie it to a tree, and unwind while enjoying the breathtaking views.
In the afternoon, transfer to the Havelock Island Jetty for your ferry back to Port Blair. Upon arrival, proceed to your hotel for check-in and enjoy a restful overnight stay in Port Blair.
Day 04: Wandoor Beach & Departure (Check-out by 0800 hrs)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and head to Wandoor Beach, located about 30 kilometers from Port Blair. The drive offers a unique view of the Tsunami-affected areas, where former paddy fields have transformed into serene water bodies resembling picturesque lakes. This area has become a haven for wetland birds, making it a delightful stop for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts.
Spend some time soaking in the tranquil beauty of Wandoor Beach before proceeding to the airport for your onward journey. Return home with cherished memories of your unforgettable Andaman adventure.
