Day 01: Arrival – Cellular Jail & Light & Sound Show

Arrive at Port Blair in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel for check-in. After lunch, visit the Cellular Jail, a historic national memorial. Built in 1906 by the British, this three-story prison was designed for solitary confinement and earned the island the infamous name of Kala Pani. The Cellular Jail holds great significance in India’s freedom struggle, having housed many prominent freedom fighters. It stands as a silent witness to the brutalities endured by the prisoners, most of whom were national heroes.

In the evening, enjoy the captivating Light and Sound Show at the Cellular Jail, which brings the heroic story of India’s freedom struggle to life. The show offers a vivid portrayal of the prison’s connection to the sacrifices made by freedom fighters. Overnight stay in Port Blair.

After breakfast, transfer to the jetty for your journey to Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) via a scenic cruise. Located about 54 kilometers northeast of Port Blair, Swaraj Dweep is a hidden tropical gem spanning approximately 86 square kilometers. Renowned for its crystal-clear waters, this island is among the world’s finest destinations for snorkeling and scuba diving. Its underwater world is teeming with life, featuring nearly 1,000 marine species, including nudibranchs, sea slugs, ghost pipefish, jawfish, and a variety of fascinating crustaceans.

Swaraj Dweep’s tranquil beaches, vibrant coral reefs, and exceptional underwater visibility of up to 40 meters make it a paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. With its serene charm and “far from the crowd” appeal, the island is a dream destination for travelers seeking a peaceful escape.

Upon arrival at Swaraj Dweep jetty, our representative will assist you with the transfer to your pre-booked hotel. After check-in, unwind and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Overnight stay in Havelock.

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before heading to Elephant Beach (or Lighthouse Beach). A short 30-minute ride by a shared fiber speedboat brings you to this picturesque destination. Elephant Beach is ideal for snorkeling, offering calm, shallow blue waters perfect for beginners. For those seeking more adventure, optional activities like glass-bottom boat rides, snorkeling, sea walking, or scuba diving are available at an additional cost, providing an unforgettable opportunity to explore the vibrant coral reefs and marine life beneath the waves.

The beach’s stunning scenery—complete with fallen trees, powdery white sand, and turquoise waters—creates a perfect setting for relaxation and photography. The coral reef begins just a meter from the shore and teems with marine life, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts.

After your time at the beach, return to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

Overnight stay in Havelock.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to the iconic Radhanagar Beach, also known as Beach No. 7. Recognized as one of the most picturesque beaches in the Andaman Islands, Radhanagar Beach is the crowning jewel of Swaraj Dweep. Nestled on the western side of the island, this pristine white-sand beach gained international acclaim when Time Magazine named it the best beach in Asia in 2004.

Surrounded by lush tropical forests and stretching over several kilometers, Radhanagar Beach offers a serene and breathtaking escape. Whether you choose to bask in the sun, take leisurely strolls along the shore, or simply soak in the stunning views, this beach is a true paradise for beach lovers.

In the afternoon, board the ferry back to Port Blair as per the scheduled timing. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and unwind for the evening.

Overnight stay in Port Blair.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Wandoor Beach, located approximately 30 kilometers from Port Blair. The drive takes you through areas impacted by the 2004 Tsunami, where former paddy fields have transformed into serene water bodies resembling a lake. These wetlands are now a haven for migratory birds, making it a delightful spot for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts.

After spending some peaceful time at Wandoor Beach, you will be dropped at the airport for your onward journey. Depart with cherished memories of your wonderful Andaman holiday.
