This comprehensive journey captures the diverse soul of Nepal, moving from the ancient UNESCO World Heritage temples of the Kathmandu Valley to the tranquil lakeside serenity of Pokhara. Witness spectacular sunrises over the Annapurna range in Nagarkot and venture into the subtropical wilds of Chitwan National Park to track one-horned rhinos. This is a perfectly balanced retreat where spiritual heritage, mountain majesty, and untamed nature converge.
Day 1: Arrival in the City of Temples (Kathmandu)
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel. Receive a traditional welcome and a briefing on your cross-country journey. Spend the evening at your leisure, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of the capital.

Day 2: Kathmandu Heritage & Spiritual Landmarks
Embark on a full-day guided tour of the valley’s most sacred sites. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, the premier Hindu shrine, and Boudhanath Stupa, a center of Tibetan Buddhism. Witness the reclining Vishnu at Budhanilkantha and end the day at Swayambhunath (The Monkey Temple) for a panoramic view of the valley.

Day 3: Journey to the City of Lakes (Kathmandu to Pokhara)
After breakfast, drive to Pokhara (approx. 210 km), known for its stunning mountain backdrops and serene lakes. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening stroll along the banks of Phewa Lake, admiring the reflection of Mount Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) in the water.

Day 4: Pokhara Vistas & Natural Wonders
Wake up early for a sunrise excursion to Sarangkot to witness the first light on the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After breakfast, visit the International Mountain Museum, Davis Falls, and Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave. Enjoy an afternoon boat ride on Phewa Lake and visit the Tal Barahi Temple located on an island.

Day 5: Into the Wild (Pokhara to Chitwan)
Drive toward the subtropical plains of the Terai region to reach Chitwan National Park. After checking into your jungle lodge, receive a briefing on wildlife activities. In the evening, witness a vibrant Tharu Cultural Show featuring traditional stick dances.

Day 6: Full Day Jungle Safari & Wildlife Exploration
Immerse yourself in the wilderness with a Jungle Safari to track one-horned rhinos, deer, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a Canoe Ride on the Rapti River to spot crocodiles and water birds, and visit the local Elephant Breeding Centre to learn about conservation efforts.

Day 7: Medieval Heritage & Himalayan Sunsets (Nagarkot via Bhaktapur)
Drive back toward the Kathmandu valley, stopping to explore the ancient, well-preserved city of Bhaktapur. Wander through its medieval Durbar Square before ascending to the hill station of Nagarkot. Arrive in time to witness a spectacular Himalayan sunset from the ridge.

Day 8: Sunrise View & Final Departure
Catch a final, majestic sunrise over the Himalayas, spanning from the Annapurnas to Mt. Everest on clear days. After breakfast, descend to Kathmandu and transfer to the airport for your onward journey, carrying the diverse beauty of Nepal with you.
