Arrive at Port Blair in the afternoon, where you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After lunch, begin your exploration with a visit to the National Memorial – Cellular Jail. Constructed in 1906 by the British, this three-story prison was specifically designed for solitary confinement, earning it the infamous name Kala Pani. The Cellular Jail stands as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by India’s freedom fighters, many of whom endured inhumane conditions within its walls. Declared a national memorial, this iconic structure holds a significant place in the country’s history and is considered a pilgrimage site for patriots.
In the evening, experience the captivating Sound and Light Show at the Cellular Jail. This spectacular performance brings alive the stories of India’s heroic freedom struggle, offering visitors a vivid and emotional connection to the past.
End your day with an overnight stay at your hotel in Port Blair.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to the jetty for a scenic cruise to Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island). This tropical paradise, located about 54 kilometers northeast of Port Blair, is a serene escape with crystal-clear waters and abundant marine life, making it a haven for snorkeling and scuba diving enthusiasts. The island is home to over 1000 species of marine life, including colorful coral reefs, nudibranchs, sea slugs, ghost pipefish, and various crustaceans. The visibility underwater reaches up to 40 meters, allowing divers to explore the vibrant marine world.
Upon arrival at Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) Jetty, you will be greeted and assisted by our representative. From there, you will drive to Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7), the island’s most famous and breathtaking beach. This stunning beach, renowned globally after being named one of Asia’s finest by Time magazine in 2004, offers soft white sand, crystal-clear water, and a tranquil environment. With a lush tropical forest rising on one side, the beach is ideal for relaxing and enjoying various beach activities.
After soaking in the beauty of Radhanagar Beach, you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) for check-in and an overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed to Elephant Beach / Light House Beach. This beach is an excellent spot for both beginners and experienced snorkelers, with calm blue shallow waters that make it an ideal location for exploring the underwater world.
You can enjoy activities like a Glass Bottom Ride, Snorkeling, Sea Walk, or Scuba Diving (at an additional cost) to explore the vibrant coral reefs beneath the surface. These activities are available on a sharing basis with a fibre speed boat, which takes you on a 30-minute ride to the beach. The coral reef here starts very close to the shore, at a depth of about 1 meter, making it easy to observe the rich marine life. The beach itself is scenic, with fallen trees and white sand, providing the perfect backdrop for stunning photographs.
Whether you choose to relax on the beach or enjoy the marine activities, this spot offers a peaceful retreat with plenty of natural beauty. After spending time at the beach, you will be dropped back to your hotel.
Overnight Stay at Havelock.
After an early breakfast, we check out from our hotel in Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) and proceed to the Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) Jetty to take the ferry to Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island).
Upon arrival at Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island), we check in to our hotel. This lush green island is known for its abundant plantations and tropical forests. Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island) is a peaceful haven that features beautiful paddy fields, banana plantations, and dense tropical trees. The island spans 18.9 square kilometers and is located 40 kilometers (25 miles) east of Port Blair, the capital of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The island boasts some of the Andamans’ most pristine and serene beaches, such as Sitapur, Bharatpur, and Laxmanpur, all of which are perfect for exploration. The untouched beauty of the sandy shores and crystal-clear waters, combined with the lush greenery, offers a rejuvenating experience for nature lovers and backpackers alike. The tranquil atmosphere and breathtaking views make it an ideal destination for those seeking peace and natural beauty.
After enjoying some leisure time on the island, you will return to your hotel.
Overnight Stay at Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island).
After breakfast, enjoy your morning at leisure. (No vehicle will be provided).
As per the ferry timing, we will transfer you to the Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island) Jetty to take the return ferry to Port Blair.
Upon arrival at Port Blair Jetty, you will be met and assisted by our representative, who will guide you to your waiting vehicle. You will then be transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Port Blair.
After checking in, you can relax and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. (No vehicle will be provided for the rest of the day).
Overnight stay at Port Blair.
On Day 06, after breakfast, we begin the day with a visit to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island (Ross Island), which served as the administrative capital of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands during British colonial rule. The island is now under the control of the Indian Navy. Ross Island, now largely in ruins, offers a glimpse into its colonial past with its decaying structures. A small museum, Smritika, displays photographs and antiques from the British era, providing insight into the history of the island and its significance during the colonial period. The island is also famous for its friendly flocks of deer and scenic walking trails, making it a tranquil place to explore. After exploring Ross Island, we proceed by boat to North Bay, also known as Coral Island, which is renowned for its stunning coral reefs and clear waters. At North Bay, you can engage in a variety of activities like the Glass Bottom Ride, Snorkeling, Sea Walk, and Scuba Diving (optional, at an additional cost) to explore the vibrant marine life and coral ecosystems beneath the surface. After spending time at North Bay, we return to Port Blair for an overnight stay.
On Day 07, after breakfast, you will proceed to Wandoor Beach, located about 30 kilometers from Port Blair city. The scenic journey takes you through an area that was once a paddy land, which was later submerged and now resembles a lake, following the devastating effects of the tsunami. This area is known for its lush surroundings and is a haven for bird watchers, offering glimpses of migratory wetland birds that have made it their home. After spending some time at the beach and enjoying the serene atmosphere, you will be dropped at the Port Blair Airport for your departure. With a heart full of memories from a wonderful holiday, you will head home, marking the end of your tour.
