Day 1: Arrival in Port Blair - Visit to Cellular Jail & Light and Sound Show
Arrive in Port Blair in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel. After lunch, head to the Cellular Jail, a National Memorial that played a pivotal role in India’s freedom struggle. Built in 1906 by the British, this three-story prison was designed for solitary confinement, earning it the infamous name Kala Pani. Many prominent freedom fighters endured severe hardships here, making the site a pilgrimage for those honoring the nation’s independence movement.
In the evening, experience the captivating Sound and Light Show at the Cellular Jail. This immersive show brings to life the heroic stories of India’s struggle for freedom, offering a vivid portrayal of the sacrifices made by the nation’s brave fighters.
Overnight stay at Port Blair.
Day 2: Baratang Island Day Trip - Limestone Caves (Closed on Mondays & National Holidays - ETD at 04:30 Hrs)
Begin your day early with a thrilling full-day excursion to Baratang Island, located 110 km (approximately 3.5 hours) from Port Blair. Known for its natural beauty, Baratang Island is a paradise for nature lovers. The journey involves traveling through dense equatorial forests and crossing creeks, offering a picturesque view of the island’s unique landscapes.
Upon reaching Baratang, take a fascinating mangrove creek journey aboard a fiber speedboat. After disembarking, trek through a small village and lush mangrove forests to reach the Limestone Caves, a must-see natural wonder. These ancient caves, located around 30 minutes by sea from Baratang Jetty, are surrounded by mangroves, creating an enchanting atmosphere.
Enjoy the experience of exploring the caves, but note that photography is strictly prohibited in the jungle area to protect the environment.
In the evening, return to Port Blair. Overnight stay at Port Blair.
Day 3: Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) - Radhanagar Beach (Departure at 06:00 Hrs)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the jetty to board the cruise to Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island), located 54 kilometers northeast of Port Blair. Known for its serene tropical ambiance, Swaraj Dweep covers about 86 square kilometers and is famous for its crystal-clear waters, which are among the best in the world for snorkeling and scuba diving. The island’s waters are home to nearly 1,000 species of marine life, including nudibranchs, sea slugs, ghost pipefish, jawfish, and various types of crustaceans, making it a diver’s paradise.
Upon arrival at Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) Jetty, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7), a pristine stretch of white sand located on the western side of the island. This beach earned global recognition when Time magazine named it the finest in Asia in 2004. With lush tropical forests surrounding it and the beach stretching for kilometers, Radhanagar Beach is perfect for relaxation and offers various activities for beach lovers.
After enjoying the beauty of Radhanagar Beach, you will be transferred to your hotel on Havelock Island for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) - Elephant Beach / Light House Beach – Return to Port Blair
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Elephant Beach or Light House Beach, located about 30 minutes away by shared fiber speedboat. These beaches are ideal for snorkeling, especially for beginners, thanks to their calm, shallow blue waters. You can also enjoy other activities such as the Glass Bottom Ride, Sea Walk, or Scuba Diving (optional, at an additional cost) to explore the vibrant coral reefs beneath the water.
The beach is visually stunning, with white sands and fallen trees that provide great photo opportunities. The coral reefs start just 1 meter from the shore and are predominantly made up of hard coral, teeming with marine life. Whether you prefer to relax on the beach or immerse yourself in the underwater world, this is a perfect spot for both.
In the afternoon, based on the ferry schedule, you will be transferred to the Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) Jetty for your return ferry to Port Blair. Upon arrival at Port Blair, our representative will meet you at the jetty and transfer you back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Wandoor Beach - Departure (Check-Out Time: 08:00 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and head to Wandoor Beach, located 30 kilometers from Port Blair. The drive takes you through areas affected by the 2004 tsunami, where former paddy fields are now submerged, resembling tranquil lakes. This area has become a popular spot for birdwatching, offering glimpses of migratory wetland birds.
Spend some time enjoying the serene beauty of the beach before being dropped off at the airport for your departure.
