Day 1: Arrival – Cellular Jail + Light & Sound Show

Arrive at Port Blair in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel. After lunch, visit the iconic Cellular Jail, a National Memorial that stands as a symbol of India’s freedom struggle. Built by the British in 1906 for solitary confinement, the prison earned the Andaman Islands the infamous name “Kala Pani.” Many freedom fighters were incarcerated here, and it remains a site of historical significance. This three-story structure silently bears witness to the inhumane hardships endured by its prisoners.

In the evening, enjoy the captivating Light and Sound Show at the Cellular Jail, which brings to life the heroic stories of India’s fight for independence. The show immerses you in the poignant history of the freedom fighters and their sacrifices. Overnight stay in Port Blair.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the jetty for your cruise to Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island), a serene tropical paradise approximately 54 kilometers northeast of Port Blair. Spanning about 86 square kilometers, Havelock Island is renowned for its pristine beauty, clear waters, and vibrant marine life, making it a haven for snorkeling and scuba diving enthusiasts. The waters around the Andaman Islands are home to nearly 1,000 marine species, including nudibranchs, sea slugs, ghost pipefish, jawfish, and various unique crustaceans.

Upon arrival at Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island), meet our representative at the jetty and proceed to Radhanagar Beach (Beach No. 7). Situated on the island’s western side, this stunning white sand beach gained international acclaim when Time magazine named it Asia’s best beach in 2004. Surrounded by lush tropical forests and offering a tranquil atmosphere, Radhanagar Beach is perfect for relaxation and beach activities.

Later, transfer to your hotel in Havelock for an overnight stay.

Start your day with an early breakfast before checking out from your hotel in Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island). Transfer to the jetty to board the ferry to Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island), a tranquil destination known for its lush greenery and tropical charm.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and set out to explore the island’s stunning landscapes. Spanning 18.9 square kilometers, Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island) boasts verdant surroundings of paddy fields, banana plantations, and tropical forests. Located 40 kilometers east of Port Blair, this serene island offers some of the Andaman’s finest beaches, including Sitapur, Bharatpur, and Laxmanpur Beach.

These pristine beaches, with their breathtaking sea views and lush greenery, are perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation, making the island a haven for backpackers and nature lovers. After sightseeing, return to your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay at Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island).

Spend a relaxed morning at leisure, enjoying the serene surroundings (no vehicle provided). Based on the ferry schedule, transfer to the Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island) jetty for your return journey to Port Blair.

Upon arrival at the Port Blair jetty, meet our representative and transfer to your pre-booked hotel. After check-in, take time to unwind and enjoy the hotel’s amenities. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the city on your own or simply relax (no vehicle provided).

Overnight stay at Port Blair.

Start early in the morning for an exciting day trip to Baratang Island. The 110 km (3.5-hour) road journey offers a scenic route through dense equatorial forests and creeks, showcasing the island’s natural beauty. Baratang is home to the fascinating Limestone Caves, a must-visit for nature lovers and adventure seekers.

The journey continues with a thrilling boat ride through a mangrove creek, followed by a trek through a small village and mangrove forest to reach the caves. The limestone caves, located about 30 minutes by boat from Baratang jetty, are a remarkable sight, accessible only by this boat trip through the creek lined with mangroves.

After exploring the caves, return to Port Blair in the evening. Overnight stay at Port Blair. (Please note that photography is strictly prohibited in the jungle area).

After breakfast, embark on a scenic 30 km drive from Port Blair to Wandoor Beach, passing through the Tsunami-affected area. Once fertile paddy lands, this area is now submerged in water, resembling a serene lake. Wandoor Beach is known for its tranquil beauty and is a popular spot for birdwatching, offering glimpses of migratory wetland birds.

After spending time at the beach, you’ll be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight. Depart with cherished memories of your unforgettable holiday.
