Day 1 – Day 1: Arrive Helsinki – Evening Coastal Sailing

Welcome to Helsinki, Finland’s stylish seaside capital. On arrival at Helsinki Airport, enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. Standard check-in is from 15:00 hrs (early check-in subject to availability).

Depending on arrival time, you may opt for a 3-hour guided evening sailing experience along Helsinki’s scenic coastline. Cruise past the majestic Finnish icebreaker fleet, Kaivopuisto Park, the award-winning Löyly public sauna, sandy beaches of Pihlajasaari, and UNESCO-listed Suomenlinna Sea Fortress spread across six historic islands.

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day guided city tour covering Helsinki’s must-see landmarks:

  • Sibelius Monument

  • Senate Square & Helsinki Cathedral

  • Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral

  • Temppeliaukio (Rock Church)

  • Esplanade Park & Market Square

  • Old Market Hall & Havis Amanda

The guide shares insights into Finnish history, culture, and daily life.
Later, explore independently or upgrade with the Helsinki Card, offering museum entries and sightseeing tours.

After breakfast, check out and transfer privately to Helsinki Airport for your flight to Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland.

On arrival, enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. Rovaniemi sits directly on the Arctic Circle, famously marked at Santa Claus Village, just 8 km from the city centre.

After breakfast, check out and enjoy free time until your private transfer to Rovaniemi Airport, scheduled 3–4 hours before departure.
