1.What is the best time to visit Kerala?

The best time to visit Kerala is during the winter months, from October to February, when the weather is pleasant and ideal for sightseeing and outdoor activities. The monsoon season (June to September) is also a good time for experiencing the lush green landscapes and Ayurvedic treatments.

The state is home to various plantations, including tea, spices and coffee, which is also one of the famous things about Kerala. The major areas adding to this popularity are Periyar, Kochi and Munnar regions. Moreover, due to this plantation, you can find a delicious fragrance wafting in the air.

Named as one of the ten paradises of the world by National Geographic Traveler, Kerala is famous especially for its ecotourism initiatives and beautiful backwaters. Its unique culture and traditions, coupled with its varied demography, have made Kerala one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.

When working out the best time to visit Kerala, we do not recommend travelling during the monsoon, which peaks Jun-Aug with torrential rain and widespread flooding. Meanwhile, in the dry months of Dec-Jan, Kerala is flooded with tourists.
