Day 1 – Welcome to Helsinki
Helsinki kick-starts your hunt for the mystical Northern Lights. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Take time to freshen up before joining your Local Specialist for a city sightseeing tour followed by a Welcome Reception.

Day 2 – Journey to Saariselkä
Today, fly north from Helsinki across the Arctic Circle to Ivalo. From here, enjoy a short drive to the enchanting snowy village of Saariselkä, where you will stay for the next two nights.

Day 3 – Discover the Arctic
Enjoy a relaxed day in the picturesque Arctic village of Saariselkä. You may choose from optional adventures such as snowshoeing along the scenic Aurora Path or a thrilling snowmobiling experience across the frozen Ivalo River. As night falls, opt for a magical Northern Lights hunt.

Day 4 – Santa Claus Village & Rovaniemi

Day 5 – Venture to Luleå (Swedish Lapland)
Bid farewell to Finland and journey into Sweden. Visit Gammelstad Church Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring over 400 wooden houses around a medieval stone church. Continue to Luleå, the largest city in Swedish Lapland.
Day 6 – Onwards to Kiruna
Enjoy a free day to explore Kiruna, a fascinating mining town being relocated due to the iron mine beneath it. Optional experiences include a thrilling husky safari across snowy landscapes. Tonight offers your final opportunity to witness the Northern Lights.

Day 7 – Kiruna Your Way
Fly from the Arctic region to Stockholm. Discover the city on an orientation tour with a Local Specialist, exploring the Old Town and visiting Stockholm City Hall. Conclude your Northern Lights journey with a memorable farewell dinner.
Day 8 – Enjoy Stunning Stockholm
Your Arctic adventure comes to an end as you bid farewell, carrying memories of Sámi culture, Nordic traditions, and magical winter landscapes.
Day 9 – Farewell Stockholm
Travel north to Jokkmokk, an important cultural centre for the indigenous Sámi people. Visit the Ájtte Museum and gain insight into Sámi heritage during a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® experience. Enjoy a traditional Sámi meal as part of a Be My Guest experience before continuing to Kiruna.
