KUALA LUMPUR: Great news for travelers and locals alike! Kuala Lumpur’s iconic KL Tower will officially reopen its doors to visitors starting this Saturday.
Following a temporary closure for essential maintenance and upgrades, the Communications Ministry confirmed that the reopening reflects the government’s strong focus on ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for all. Earlier this month, Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil announced the tower’s short-term closure beginning April 17 to allow the new management team, LSH Service Master Sdn Bhd (LSHSM), to conduct vital improvement works.
Now, with everything in place, visitors can look forward to a refreshed experience at one of Malaysia’s most recognized landmarks. LSHSM, which took over the tower’s operations with a new 20-year concession starting April 1, has also announced exciting new upgrades as part of KL Tower’s rebranding efforts.
Among the highlights:
-
ORBIT – A newly revamped revolving restaurant offering stunning panoramic views of the city.
-
HEMISFERA – A luxurious sky hall designed for exclusive events and private gatherings.
To celebrate the grand reopening, KL Tower is rolling out a special “Welcome Back” promotion exclusively for Malaysian citizens.
Khairil Faizal Othman, CEO of LSHSM, shared that the tower’s revival aims to blend tradition with innovation. “We have worked hard during the closure to modernize KL Tower while maintaining its historical charm. Visitors can expect an even more dynamic, engaging, and sustainable experience,” he said.
With its fresh upgrades and renewed spirit, KL Tower is ready to reclaim its place among the world’s top travel destinations. Whether you’re visiting for breathtaking views, fine dining, or a unique event experience, KL Tower promises an unforgettable adventure in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
